Warp-A-Bard is an artist-management and live-production network working across Brazil and Europe. We connect artists ("bards") with festivals, venues, brands and investors, and support their shows. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under Brazil’s LGPD and the EU’s GDPR.
Data we collect
When you book or contact us (festivals, venues, brands, private events):
- What you send through the booking form: event type, city and country, dates, budget, expected audience, set format and duration, language, age suitability, audience interests and music styles.
- Your name, email and anything else you write when you email us or schedule a meeting.
From the artists we represent:
- Profile information shown on our site: name, photos, biography and public social media links and follower counts.
- If an artist connects their YouTube or Instagram account to our audience statistics tool, read-only access to their channel and account statistics. See "YouTube and Instagram data" below.
How we use it
- To answer booking requests, prepare proposals and organize shows.
- To present our artists to festivals, venues and brands.
- To understand each artist’s audience (where it is and who it is) so we can plan bookings and find brands that fit.
We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
YouTube and Instagram data
When an artist signs in with Google or Instagram and clicks Allow, we get read-only access to:
- YouTube: channel details (name, subscribers, videos) and YouTube Analytics reports (views, watch time, and audience age, gender, country, city, device and traffic sources).
- Instagram (Business or Creator accounts): profile, posts and insights (followers, reach, engagement, and audience age, gender, country and city).
We never post, change or delete anything on these accounts, and we never see passwords. Access tokens are stored encrypted. The statistics are visible only to the artist (through their personal access code) and to the Warp-A-Bard team. We may share summarized audience figures with festivals, venues or brands when proposing the artist, only with the artist’s agreement. We never give them access to the accounts.
Our audience statistics tool uses YouTube API Services. Google’s use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Warp-A-Bard’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Artists can remove our access at any time, for Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions and for Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites.
Cookies and your device
The website doesn’t use its own cookies, analytics or advertising tools. If you use the language switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage, and you can remove it by clearing your browser’s data for this site.
Artist pages include a Spotify player. When it loads, Spotify sets its own cookies and receives your IP address, as described in the Spotify Privacy Policy.
Who we share data with
- Festivals, venues and brands, only as needed to arrange a booking or partnership.
- Service providers that run our website, email and calendar (for example Google), only to provide those services.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Because we work in Brazil and Europe, data may be transferred between them. We protect it the same way wherever it is.
How long we keep it
- Booking requests and emails: as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting contract, plus what tax and legal rules require.
- Artists’ account statistics: while the artist works with us and keeps the account connected. When access is removed or the artist asks, we delete them within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Write to bookings@warpabard.com and we will answer within 15 days. You can also complain to Brazil’s ANPD or to the data protection authority in your EU country.
